Parents and Citizens Association

The P & C Association promotes the interest of the Toogoolawah State School by endeavouring to bring closer co-operation among the children attending our school, their parents, other citizens and the teachers at our school. It also fosters community interest in educational matters.

The P & C Association will regularly request your assistance with its projects and activities

The Annual General Meeting will be held in February. Other general meetings are held on the second Monday of each month at 7.00pm. This association is actively involved in school planning via participation in other school committees. If you require a copy of the constitution of our P & C Association, just inform the Principal.

Fund Raising

Our P & C Association, Student Council, and teachers conduct fund raising activities during the year to help purchase equipment and provide amenities for our students. We need to raise funds in addition to government assistance (general purpose allowances and subsidies) for recurrent expenditure items such as teaching aids, sporting equipment, duplicating materials, etc. It is essential that we conduct fund raising to provide facilities which will improve the learning, social and recreational environment of our students
